Barry-John McHenry finished a solid season in TCR UK last week in Brands Hatch. For 2026 Barry-John teamed up with Vannin Motorsport in his Audi RS3 TCR Car. This is by far the most competitive championship that he has raced in. He held his own all season producing a string of top 10 results.

A 5th in the Brands Hatch finally in front of 50,000 people was one of the highlights of the season. Barry-John also recorded 3 6th place finishes and a couple of 7ths, He even led for a short time in Donnington Park in the mid season. Overall a very enjoyable experience in the ultra competitive championship. 

Barry-John finished a solid 9th in the overall championship and 2nd the Diamond Award Championship for drivers over 40. He also secured 4th overall in the Walker Trophy for drivers that never had a podium in TCR and for drivers making their debut in the championship. 

What a season and what a team. We started the season in Brands Hatch and then i had to skip Croft for other commitments but had Alister Kellett in the car for that round, Then we moved to Snetterton for a very exciting weekend before two visits to Donnington Park, The championship then went to Oultan Park before finishing up back in Brands Hatch at the huge finally, Overall i loved every minute of it and thanks to all my sponsors, fans and for the incredible team.
